Janice and her husband (Harry), both medical doctors, have been ministering to Muslims overseas since 1989 with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) first in The Gambia, West Africa, then in France, Jordan,and Central Asia. Since 2012, they have been enjoying Harry’s role as Co-ordinator of Islamic Ministries and are deeply involved in leadership training as well as strategy and resource development for Muslim ministries globally.
Jan has worked in many capacities, but her special interestshave been evangelism, developing new fields, counseling, training, and speakingto women’s groups. Recently she hasenjoyed teaching a course in “Cross-cultural Communication” to former Muslimsat a Bible College in Moldova as well as collaborating in developing andteaching courses in “Essential Missions Components (Basic Level and Advanced),“Child Safety Training: Recognizing andPreventing Abuse”, and “Heart, Mind and Soul: Practical Approach toEvangelizing Muslims You Know”.
Besides her family, she also enjoys cooking, mysteries, and is just learning how to fly fish.
